Okay I get the composition. But to be the worlds most expensive photograph? I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Or just let my head explode.

I don’t get that either. It doesn’t seem like a remarkable composition by any stretch.
It’s a famous picture because the photographer is famous and has managed to bamboozle people into thinking his photos are worth that kind of money.
Then again, it give me (and aspiring photographers the world over) hope that my (our) photos may one day be worth something more than a spot in one of my (our) photo albums or on my (our) wall or blog.

I thought Warhol was the greatest fraud to come out of Pennsylvania, until yesterday.
